Our renovations to the Photography Department at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) introduced a contemporary look to emphasize the transparent, public presentation of the photography program and enhance student engagement. Located on the sixth floor of the Kennedy Building, the project created new digital labs and printing room, in addition to new social areas with new displays and improved storage in the corridors. This work also provided needed HVAC capacity to designated areas on the sixth floor. Improvements were implemented in two phases.
