Dwight Hall

The renovation of Dwight Hall at Framingham State University brought comprehensive improvements to the Christa McAuliffe Auditorium, in addition to extensive building systems and infrastructure upgrades, and accessibility improvements.

Now a 500 seat, state-of-the-art performance center, the Christa McAuliffe Auditorium is designed to serve the multi-functional needs of the University, including student-run and professional theater, opera, musical performances, lectures, film studies, art history and technologically enhanced instruction for 200 student classes. The scope of our renovation included improvements to the lobby and business office, and the addition of dressing rooms, a green room, a stage workshop and backstage facilities to support performance activities. Extensive HVAC and infrastructure improvements have been made throughout the building. The project opened in 2008.
