Our collegial culture is one of the first things our architects, interior designers and planners mention when describing MDS.
At MDS, we strive to foster an environment were everyone can do their best work. We encourage the sharing of ideas, professional development and mentoring, and believe each individual brings unique skills and experiences that enhance our firm culture and design approach. We are an equal opportunity employer and value the diversity of our staff.
Our office is located in Boston's Downtown Crossing/Chinatown neighborhood, convenient to public transportation. A bicycle friendly business, many of our staff regularly pedal to work. We provide indoor bicycle storage and encourage our staff to pursue active modes of transportation.
Senior Laboratory Architect/Planner
MDS seeks an architect with 15-20 years of experience and at least 8-10 years of recent research laboratory project experience. The role will be to manage research laboratory projects for academic and health care clients and to develop new institutional clients. Candidates should have detailed knowledge of current lab design trends and equipment, as well as good client relationship and team management skills. This is an opportunity for the right individual to expand on MDS’s solid record in lab design and form a targeted lab design team. Send resume and work samples in PDF format to Ms. O’Rourke at firstname.lastname@example.org. No phone calls.
In absence of openings in your area of expertise, MDS welcomes inquiries from talented architects, interior designers, and planners. When submitting job applications, please provide a resume, cover letter, and up to five pages in PDF format that represent the range of your professional work. MDS uses Revit for all projects, and experience using Revit is preferred for all job applicants. Send resumes to Joanne O’Rourke at email@example.com. No phone calls.
