Senior Laboratory Architect/Planner
MDS seeks an architect with 15-20 years of experience and at least 8-10 years of recent research laboratory project experience. The role will be to manage research laboratory projects for academic and health care clients and to develop new institutional clients. Candidates should have detailed knowledge of current lab design trends and equipment, as well as good client relationship and team management skills. Architectural Designer/Job Captain
MDS is seeking a versatile full-time Designer/Job Captain with strong design and graphic skills to join our collaborative team of architects, designers, and interior designers. Our clients range from schools and universities to health care institutions and laboratories. We are looking for a designer with 5-8 years of experience in renovation and new construction of institutional projects.
Other requirements for this position include:
professional degree in Architecture
ability to work well in a team
strong design software and 3D visualization skills
proficiency in current versions of Revit, SketchUp, and rendering software types
experience in producing construction documents
understanding of codes, accessibility regulations, building systems, materials, etc.
ability to multitask and work well under deadlines is essential
